0164: INTERSPECIES FRIENDSHIPS

Animals of different species can be friends. Humans too, surely can all be friends - at least we have the advantage of being the same species! Animals being kind to other animals puts a smile on your face and a warmth in your heart.

0163: LOOKING THROUGH PHOTO ALBUMS

On the weekend, I went to a funeral of someone very close to me. When we back to our friends' house, we looked through dozens of photo albums. I saw all of my family and friends past and present in black and white or seventies film filter. It was just beautiful.

0162: BUTTER

Is there anything better than butter?
Think it over.
Every time you taste something that's delicious beyond imagining, and you say, "What is in this?" the answer is always going to be "butter." It's incredible. Probably the greatest rock and roll band in existence. No doubt about it. They taught us everything, from how to twist and shout, to what love is really all about. Listen to their music if you need a little pick-me-up!

0160: EPIC RAP BATTLES

 



Oh my dear lord!! I could choose just one so I've posted four - they are that good. If we get past the swearing, these are so funny, but particularly clever. Anyone can rap about seeing a girl in a club and wanting to take her home to your cribs and condos with your king sized mattress where you can lay, or about how angry you are, but making argumentative raps - now that is truly a skill. So choc full of information, debate and hilarity. If you can deal with the language (they are not all offensive) they are the best mood lifter!! Soooooooooooo good.

0159: REALLY GREAT EMAILS

Those really cute emails about animals, amazing pictures, funny little stories, tear jerking inspiration, or forward to x people or you no-one will ever love you/you will die/something possessed will appear and tear out your lungs and eat your appendix. Gotta love 'em.

0158: KNOWING ALL ALONG

So basically being a good friend. Fo shiz though, I can be so blind sometimes, but every once in a while, I know something. I don't often pick up on the way people feel, or what they "really mean" but when I really care about someone, I know things about them that they don't even know.

So to those people out there who I love, I know, and have known all along. I'm here for you. And always will be. You know who you are.

0156: THE MINIONS IN DESPICABLE ME

It's strange - I saw Despicable Me 2 last night (I loved it by the way), and I laughed pretty much non-stop, but was one of few doing so (everyone laughed on-and-off, but few laughed without an interval). However, whenever the minions were a part of the action, everyone absolutely lost it. I guess it means that everyone finds them funny. Seriously everyone. They can't not make you happy.



0155: SOUR CHERRY JUICE

I love sour cherry anything, and unfortunately, where I live, it's not something that is widely available. Being the good European girl that I am, I will buy whatever I see that is sour cherry flavoured - which I don't see everyday. Now I'm sorry Ocean Spray, but you just don't cut it. Well today, the local supermarket, for some reason, suddenly had Dimes Sour Cherry juice for $2 for a litre bottle. Naturally, I bought 30. Literally. Now I don't need to go to Eastern Europe to get some decent cherry kapow.

0154: MENTAL HEALTH DAYS

I'm not condoning faking sick, but taking a day to pick up your nuts is highly necessary sometimes. Watch movies, read books, bake something, clean your pantry, study, sleep...

0153: CARE PACKAGES

Have you ever received a care package? Have you ever given one? They are super cute, super adorbs and super lovely. If you have a sick friend, celebrating friend, upset friend or want to be a friend indeed, make a little package to show that you care. And what goes around comes around....

0152: ITALIAN FANTA

It may not be something you would think of, ever! But honestly, it's not like what we have in Australia and from memory unlike the American one. It's, as you can see in the above diagram, slightly lighter in colour, less effervescent and in a way less sweet (obviously not seen from the diagram above). I think, that Fanta Italia is a conspiracy - I believe them to put San Pellegrino Blood Orange into the Fanta cans and bottles. It's just so sophisticated-tasting and delicious instead of unbearably sweet, cavity causing, artificial yuckness.

Those Italians have us beat.

0151: ADVENTURE TIME

Adventure Time, c'mon grab your friends, we'll go to very distant lands with Jake the dog and Finn the human, the fun will never end it's Adventure Time.

I can't even say anything else about it. I t makes me happy beyond words. Shmowzow! The Astral Beast cometh. I read about it in the Enchiridion.

0150: FLOWERS

The earth laughs in flowers. Personify your happiness by growing some flowers. Wild flowers are beautiful, but by growing some, you create, nurture, enjoy and are rewarded.

Get a seed catalogue and decide what flower you love most. Buy the seeds or seedlings and plant them in your garden, balcony or window-box. Consider colour and scent. Plant bulbs, flowering trees and bushes. Let flowers make your world more beautiful and fragrant. Enjoy sharing them with others.

0147: BEING HOT IN COLD AIR

It's so nice when you are hot and a bit pink in the cheeks, to go outside in the cool, crisp air and having the icy atmosphere nibble at your exposed skin. Maybe not to the extent of this poor little cherub. You can run, you can jump and not even get hot because its just so chilly outside. I love not getting red in the face or sweaty when I jog. And then, ironically, isn't it nice to come into your warm house, discover how ice cold most of your skin is - clothed or not - and getting all toasty warm again.
